Toyomi Igus, a brand and communications strategist, was looking to refocus her business to referral-only clients and select projects that really resonated with her personal values around community and culture. It also allows more time for personal projects, including writing more books.
Challenge
Balance Igus’s consulting work with her passion projects.
Solution
Let the site feel more personal than corporate, by incorporating a rich, understated color palette, selecting “Zen nature images” that aligned with her personal sense of style, and including a quote from her grandmother on the landing page.
Personal and consulting work are visually presented equally and Igus selected favorite consulting projects in the public health and community space to showcase on the site. Landing page portrait was done with my business partner, Tony Pinto, through our company Vim & Vigor opens in a new tab.
